This is a new program providing nutrition education for users of the Hartland Food Shelf. It will happen on the LAST Friday of each month, from 8-10 am, right downstairs here at this church. Participants will sample and learn how to prepare healthy meals using the variety of produce, fruit, meat, eggs and bread that are provided to the shelf by the Hanover Food Coop, Harmony Farm and several others.At the Breakfast program, holding forth on skillets will be our venerable chef, David Day, assisted by Carrie LaBounty and backed up by the Food Shelf allstars, Carol, Connie, Judy, and Carmen Summersell.Funds for this program have been generously provided by: Ottauquechee Health Foundation, United Way of the UV, Mascoma Savings Bank Foundation.
